Elizabeth Doster -Production Designer

Elizabeth Doster, known to her friends as "Beth," is thrilled and thankful to be part of Aletheia Stage and Film Co. Beth studied under acclaimed scenery and lighting designer, Kevin Rigdon, at the University of Houston, School of Theatre in pursuit of her lifelong dream of designing for stage and film. While there, her work as scenery designer was featured in several plays, including The Nerd in 2003. Since 2004, Beth has served as projection designer for Moores Opera House for numerous operas, most recently A Room with a View and Eugene Onegin.

While Beth is grateful for every opportunity and success, such work has always left her with a sense of designing “from the outside,” with no true connection to a group or purpose. Blown away by its first film, "Washington’s Cross", Beth joined Aletheia in early 2005. Having finally found a team with whom she shares mutual desires and common vision, Beth immediately began working on Aletheia’s next film, "The Oath of Desormeau" as the production designer. She loves the challenge of shaping space for independent film and would like to credit Kevin Rigdon, The Bible, C. S. Lewis, Kevin Max, and Vincent Van Gogh among her greatest influences as she prepares research and concept art for Aletheia’s future projects.

Beth is deeply grateful to her husband Dan and their son, Andrew, for their immense patience, love, and support.
